Pan-European snow-off date (2001-2015)Period: 20010101- 20151231 Abstract: The pan-European snow-off date (snowoff) for the period 2001 to 2015 was determined from daily satellite-based maps of Fractional Snow Cover (FSC). The Snow-off date is the first day with 0 % snow cover after a period of continuous winter snow cover as seen by the satellite under cloud-free days.
